What is pollen?
Pollen is the fine, powdery substance released by anthers, a part of the flower. Pollen grains contain the male gametes of plants; this is similar to male sperm in humans.Under the microscope, pollen grains appear as a variety of shapes and sizes and are really quite beautiful structures.
